Supernatural Healing as a Lifestyle

November 19, 2010 Pastor Dan Gore http://www.destinyshouse.com/  letter #58

The following was borrowed from Living Word Christian Center in Minnesota...and they borrowed it from an old well known man of God, Charles Capps.  The reason I include it here is because I believe that the supernatural healing of our bodies should be a way of life, not just something we do when we are stuck with a bad prognosis and desperate for healing.  In other words, what if we used the Word of God more for preventative medicine instead of after the fact -- when the problem is already here?  Is that possible to live like that?  We believe it is.  Lets strive to speak and pray the Word of God over our bodies from time to time.  By faith, lets keep rooting out any and every malfunction that may exist in our bodies today -- as they are the temple of the Holy Spirit.  The following is a good template for this exercise.

Love you all & lets have more physical healing in our bodies!  O.K.?  Are you with me on that?  If we don't lay hold of that, then Jesus went through some of His suffering for nothing.  Lets grab hold of the healing Word that is available to us.

Love you,
Pastor Dan & Family

The following excerpt is taken from God's Creative Power for Healing by Charles Capps:

God's Medicine

I am FREE from unforgiveness and strife. I forgive others and Christ has forgiven me, for the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost.
(Matt. 6:12; Rom. 5:5.)

Jesus bore my sins in His Body on the tree; therefore I am dead to sin and alive unto God and by His stripes I am healed and made whole. (1 Pet. 2:24; Rom. 6:11; 2 Cor. 5:21.)

Jesus bore my sickness and carried my pain. Therefore I give no place to sickness or pain. For God sent His Word and healed me. (Ps. 107:20.)

Father, because of Your Word I am an overcomer. I overcome the world, the flesh and the devil, by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.
(1 John 4:4; Rev. 12:11.)

You have given me abundant life. I receive that life through Your Word and it flows to every organ of my body bringing healing and health. (John 10:10; John 6:63.)

Heavenly Father, I attend to Your Word. I incline my ears to Your sayings. I will not let them depart from my eyes. I keep them in the midst of my heart, for they are life and healing to all my flesh. (Prov. 4:20-22.)

As God was with Moses, so is He with me. My eyes are not dim; neither are my natural forces abated. Blessed are my eyes for they see and my ears, for they hear. (Deut. 34:7.)

No evil will befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. For You have given your angels charge over me. They keep me in all of my ways. In my pathway is life, healing and health. (Ps. 91:10, 11; Prov. 12:28.)

Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. There I refuse to allow sickness to dominate my body. The Life of God flows within me bringing healing to every fiber of my being. (Matt. 8:17; John 6:63.)

I am redeemed from the curse. Galatians 3:13 is flowing in my blood stream. It flows to every cell of my body, restoring life and health. (Mark 11:23; Luke 17:6.)

The life of First Peter 2:24 is a reality in my flesh, restoring every cell of my body. I present my body to God for it is the temple of the LIVING GOD. God dwells in me and HIS LIFE permeates my SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY so that I am filled with the fullness of God daily. (Rom. 12:1, 2; John 14:20.)

My body is the temple of the HOLY GHOST. I make a demand on my body to release the right chemicals. My body is in perfect chemical balance. My pancreas secretes the proper amount of insulin for life and health. (1 Cor. 6:19.)

Heavenly Father, through Your Word You have imparted Your life to me. That life restores my body with every breath I breath and every word I SPEAK. (John 6:63; Mark 11:23.)

That which God has not planted is dissolved and rooted out of my body In Jesus' Name. First Peter 2:24 is engrafted into every fiber of my being and I am alive with the life of God. (Mark 11:23; John 6:63.)

Growths, Tumors, and Arthritis

Jesus bore the curse for me; therefore, I forbid growths and tumors to inhabit my body. The life of God within me dissolves growths and tumors, and my strength and health is restored. (Matt. 16:19; John 14:13; Mark 11:23.)

Growths and tumors have no right to my body. They are a thing of the past for I am delivered from the authority of darkness. (Col. 1:13, 14.)

Every organ and tissue of my body functions in the perfection that God created it to function. I forbid any malfunction in my body in Jesus' Name. (Gen. 1:28, 31.)

Father, Your Word has become a part of me. It is flowing in my bloodstream. It flows to every cell of my body, restoring and transforming my body. Your Word has become flesh; for You sent Your Word and healed me. (James 1:21; Ps. 107:20; Prov. 13:3.)

Your Word in manifested in my body, causing growths to disappear. Arthritis is a thing of the past. I make a demand on my bones and joints to function properly In Jesus' Name. (Mark 11:23; Matt. 17:20.)

Heavenly Father, I give voice to Your Word, the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus makes me free from the law of sin and death. And Your Life is energizing every cell of my body. (Rom. 8:12.)

Arthritis, you must GO! Sickness MUST FLEE! Tumors can't exist in me, for the Spirit of God is upon me and the Word of God is within me. Sickness, fear and oppression have no power over me for God's Word is my confession. (Mark 11:23.)

Heart and Blood

Thank You Father that I have a strong heart. My hart beats with the rhythm of life. My blood flows to every cell of my body restoring life and health abundantly. (Prov. 12:14; 14:30.)

My blood pressure is 120 over 80. the life of God flows in my blood and cleanses my arteries of all matter that does not pertain to life. (Mark 11:23.)

My heart beat is normal. My heart beats with the rhythm of life, carrying the Life of God  throughout my body restoring LIFE AND HEALTH ABUNDANTLY. (John 17:23; Eph. 2:22.)

I have a strong heart. Every heart beat floods by body with life and cleanses me of disease and pain. (Ex. 23:25; Mark 11:23.)

I command my blood cells to destroy every disease germ and virus that tries to inhabit my body. I command every cell of my body to be normal In Jesus' Name. (Rom. 5:17; Luke 17:6.)

Every cell that does not promote life and health in my body is cut off from its life source. My immune system will not allow tumorous growth to live in my body In Jesus' Name. (Luke 17:6; Mark 11:23.)

I am redeemed from the curse of the law and my heart beats with the rhythm of life. The spirit and life of God's Word flows in me cleansing my blood of every disease and impurity. (Prov. 4:20-23.)

Arteries and Cells

In Jesus' Name, my arteries, will not shrink or become clogged. Arteries, you are clean, elastic and function as God created you to function. (Luke 17:6; Mark 11:23; Isa. 55:11; James 3:2-5.)

The law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death; therefore, I will not allow sin, sickness or death to lord over me. (Rom. 8:2; Rom. 6:13, 14.)

The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, permeating His life through my veins, sending healing throughout my body. (Rom. 8:11.)

In Jesus' Name I forbid my body to be deceived in any manner. Body, you will not be deceived by any disease germ or virus. Neither will you work against life or health in any way. Every cell in my body supports life and health. (Matt. 12:25; 35a.)

Immune System

My immune system grows stronger day by day. I speak life to my immune system. I forbid confusion in my immune system. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me and quickens my immune system with the life and wisdom of God, which guards the life and health of my body.

Healthy Bones and Marrow

I speak to the and joints of my body. I call you normal In Jesus' Name. my bones and joints will not respond to any disease; for the Spirit life of First Peter 2:24 permeates every bone and joint of my body with LIFE and HEALTH.

Father, I make a demand on my bones to produce perfect marrow. I make a demand on the marrow to produce pure blood that will ward off sickness and disease. My bones refuse any offense of the curse. (Prov. 16:24.)

I make a demand on my joints to function perfectly. There will be no pain or swelling in my joints. My joints refuse to allow anything that will hurt or destroy their normal function. (Prov. 17:22.)

Enforcing Life

Mix thoroughly with faith and authority. To be taken by word of mouth as often as needed to maintain health and life.

Body, I speak the Word of Faith to you. I demand that every organ perform a perfect work, for you are the temple of the HOLY GHOST; therefore, I charge you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the authority of His holy Word to be healed and made whole In Jesus' Name. (Prov. 12:18.)

Father, I resist the enemy in every form that he comes against me - I require my body to be strong and healthy, I enforce it with Your Word. I reject the curse, and I enforce life in this body. (James 4:7.)

I will not die but live and declare the works of God. (Ps, 118:17.)

You have forgiven all my iniquities; You have healed all my diseases; You have redeemed my life from destruction; You have satisfied my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed as the eagles. (Ps. 103:2;5.)

Lord, You have blessed my food and water and have taken sickness away from me. Therefore I will fulfill the numbers of my days in health. (Ex. 23:25, 26.)

Understanding the Principle

Now that you have gone through the scriptural confessions, let's look at the principle that could be the key to you being a partaker of God's provision concerning your healing.

There is probably no other subject as important to your healing and health than the principle of CALLING THINGS THAT ARE NOT*. We see in Romans 4:17-22 that Abraham became fully persuaded that God would do what He had promised. The way he became fully persuaded was by calling those things which were not manifest as though they were.

We pick up on this verse seventeen:

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.  (Romans 4:17)

Here Paul is referring to Genesis the 17th chapter. You will notice that God called Abram the father of nations before he had the promised child, and He taught Abram to do the same.

Prayed...
  • Thank you for all of the parts of the Body all over the earth
  • That one must go through that and they will get through that
  • We take the authority that has been given to us and say, "Enough is enough!"
  • It's Your will for us to prosper - spirit, soul, and body!
  • Pressing through and calling those things that are not as though they were!
  • Speaking to bodies to respond in God's way!
  • We make a demand on our bodies to produce the right chemicals
  • Life is restoring our bodies with every breath we take
  • If God did not plant it in our bodies, IT MUST GO!
  • We forbid any malfunction in the Body of Christ and say be changed and be restored!
  • Thank you for the medicine of life
  • We make a demand on our joints and our bones - all of our limbs are going to work correctly!

Will You Make it Through This Trial?

Pastor Dan Gore   www.destinyshouse.com  11/11/10   Letter #57

GENESIS 16:13 “She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the one who sees me.’” (NIV)

“THE GOD WHO SEES ME”:

I want you to know that there will be unusual seasons in your walk with the Lord.  Don’t let this trouble you too much.  Some of you who read this have grown accustomed to times of great miracles, where God is moving and seems to answer instantly and miraculously to everything you ask of Him.  But then, all of a sudden, it seems that He has disappeared and is no longer even noticing you.  Without you having a choice or voice in the matter, it seems as though you have stepped over into a dry season of toil & tribulation.

I want you to know that this season of famine and wrestling and difficulty is just as important as the season of harvest and production.  In the Spirit, you are breaking open the hard earth and planting seeds that seem dry and dead now, but will produce a wonderful harvest in the near future.  Your great trial and your new breakthrough/blessing are actually connected to each other, in God’s realm.

A clear sign you may be in this kind of spiritual season is that while you are under great stress and trials, you are still steady, living a clean life, and not escaping over into the temporary relief found in the flesh.  You are praying and pressing in to the Heavenly things like never before… but He does not seem to do a quick miracle like He used to do; as you were used to seeing Him do.  He seems to have gone silent and His sweet presence and miracle power seem to not come as easy.  What to do now?

Worship and love on Him even though He does not reciprocate.  Keep on asking, knocking, and seeking even though no one has come to the door yet to open it.  Even though it seems “the light is on but no one is home”, keep at it.  Keep toiling the ground and planting the seeds of intense prayer and worship, hope and faith, especially when it seems hopeless and a waste of time.  This is your sacrifice of praise.  This is your act of faith in the midst of great difficulty.  And boy, is the Lord watching now.  Is the Lord ever closer than at these moments?  These are the times that count so much for your sowing into the things of faith and the Spirit.  This is where the great breakthrough and outpouring originate from, which will come later.  And a big harvest is coming.  But some of it is according to what you do now in the hard places.

Remember Hagar & Ishmael, in Genesis 16.  Hagar the Egyptian slave was impregnated, then treated her master’s wife badly, and then was mistreated back by the same, and then ran away from home with nothing?  What a low and humiliating position to be in.  From a worldly view, there was no reason anyone should care about Hagar’s comfort.  She was both slave and foreigner.  Through a mixture of various pressures and competing needs, she was quickly in a place of desperation before God came and encouraged her.  Hagar found out about God’s carefulness with low people that day: He really does see me!  I am not invisible or meaningless to Him. He sees me and cares enough to come and find me and tell me His wonderful plans for me!   Hagar was able to see God in a new way. She had a revelation or “ah – ha” that day.  She had a deeper perception that God truly saw her, validated her, and was her source of self worth. (Gen. 21:16)

Your soul may cry out:  “What’s the use?  This is not working!  When God is finally ready to actually help us, he knows where to find me.  Looks like I will have to just depend on myself in this case.  God is useless here.”  In the midst of our trials, the enemy will often come against us with an inferiority complex – that we are less than others and that we will never amount to anything.  He attacks us with feelings of low self esteem and loneliness.  At such times we must invite the Holy Spirit to affirm us and lift us up internally and position-ally back into a place of favor and grace.  In extreme crisis: fight to remain in the secret place of the Lord.  Don’t leave.

“For whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.” (Heb. 12:6)   Then in verse 11 it says:  “Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness…” KJV

Did you catch that?   If the Lord has embraced you as his own child, there will be times of great difficulty.  Sorry.  It’s not sexy.  But there is no crown without a cross, and no true victory without great struggle and loss.   The only time the teacher is perfectly silent, is during the test taking.   He brings us through low places in order to raise us up and bless us in high places.  (Psalms 66)  He is the God who sees you.  In other words – He is the one who will save you very soon.  This trial will come to a quick end, soon.  Stay true, do your best, and don’t be too hard on yourself when you backslide just a little bit.  Cling to His heart, even when it hurts to remain faithful.  You will soon see Him in a new way, too.   If you are in that difficult season right now, just remember:  He is the God who sees you.  He never did leave you -- it just seems that way.  He really is here, watching, perhaps closer than ever.  And He will soon rescue you, pick you up again, and bless you.

Hour of Power From His High Tower

Letter #55  destinyshouse.com    Pastor Dan Gore   10-8-10

MY HOUR OF POWER FROM HIS HIGH TOWER:
PSALMS 84:10: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else].

I remember reading in one of John Maxwell’s books one time that he would take part of his vacation money once per year and plan his vacation around the location of someone famous/important; that he would pay a high fee to be able to interview that person for half an hour or hour.  If you could afford a one-time fee each year to interview your favorite past president, or favorite sports hero, or your favorite T.V. evangelist, or some nationally known professional – would you do it?  Who would it be?  Would you do it so that some of that inspiration and excellence might inspire and bring out something greater in yourself?  Who would you sit down for an hour with and what questions would you like to ask them.  We don’t idolize any person, but there is value in being around greatness and learning/modeling it.

Well…there is an appointment that I must keep everyday. I must, no matter what, spend at least an hour in intimate fellowship with my Daddy in Heaven.  I not only owe it to Him, but I owe it to myself.  Is this self serving?  Absolutely!  I am not afraid to admit it.  I deserve this time to renew myself and be around someone ultimately successful and brilliant and loving.  My heart deserves His.  My soul deserves His time.  My personality and spirit deserve this time of being lifted up and filled with good things.  You see, if I allow this appointment to slip, because of other things which continually distract me away from His face, then over time my soul, spirit and personality really begin to slip downward.  I feel the weight/gravity of what is ugly and awful in this world. I am no longer at my best.  I even begin to feel negative about myself.  My mind will start to play tricks on me, and thoughts that do not even belong to me will begin to crowd in and take over.  Those relentless intrusions will then remove my peace, security and fellowship with myself and God.  Fear replaces Love.  Worry replaces Hope.  Failure thinking replaces Success thinking. Stability, Focus, and being Centered are replaced by Double-mindedness, Instability and Distraction. Negativity bumps Joy. You get the point, I think.

This one on one with Jesus then becomes my main thing…my highest leverage activity for the day.  This is not bible study time, or writing words to God, or studying spiritual books or regular praise – those are important too.  This is straight intimate time where I must join my heart with His heart.  Here is where I speak in words of the heart and spirit, and where I wait for Him to reciprocate back to me by the Spirit.

This is what I call “my hour of power from his His tower.”  The act of this one hour (plus) has the most effect on all the other hours or the following 24 hours.  Let’s do the math real quickly.  Here is a word God gave me recently: “If you sometimes think your time is too urgent/important to really hang out with me an hour or more in private intimacy each day; if you have trouble fitting me in to your schedule – let me inform you of something: this time with me is often Preventative…meaning that for each hour you spend in my Presence, you often prevent certain wasteful attitudes, influences, distracting thoughts, moods, and problems that were otherwise headed your way today…distraction which would have used up much more than the hour you would have spent with Me.”

Better is one day, or one hour even, in His courts, than a thousand hours anywhere else.  This is one business/personal appointment we can not afford to keep missing.  I think you would agree with me, that we would not blow off a meeting with the President of the USA, or a real king, or the actual King of Kings. Write it into your day planner today, like you would your other planned meetings/appointments.  Block it off.  Oh – I need this time so badly.  It is so crucial to everything else. I must do whatever it takes to keep my appointment with Daddy God, even though there are 100 other needs screaming out at me right now to be attended to…with urgency and guilt. No!  I insist on that one pure hour in His courts today!!

The Fast that I Desire

Letter #54     Pastor Dan Gore      www.destinyshouse.com        9/24/10

“THIS IS THE FAST THAT I DESIRE” = THIS IS THE HUNGER I AM LOOKING FOR BUT CAN’T FIND IN MY PEOPLE.  (Isaiah 58:6)

I think I can share something very personal with you without being perceived in the wrong way.  Hopefully I can. Today I am at the end of a mega-fast.  Though I have fasted often to this point, it has never been longer than about 36 hours.  This has been the first time I have fasted over a week, and with God’s help, feel like I could continue on much longer.  Why?  It has been out of desperation.  Between the financial trials/economy; health issues/attacks on our family, need for breakthrough in our church family, issues in our America; etc…I have to cry:  I NEED YOUR HELP JESUS!!

God gave me this: fasting is putting the Flesh Aside in order to activate some level of Spiritual Transition.FAST = Flesh Aside/ Spiritual Transition. We stop eating food in order that we may more fully eat a different food.

So, I am hungry for more.  I sense that many of you are too. So often we slip back into playing church and going through the motions of a repeat of what has already been.  Why do we do that?  Why are we always waiting on someone else to feed us and do it for us?  I am starving for what they had at Azusa Street with Seymour, in Wales with Evan Roberts, or Houston with Tommy Tenney.  There is so much more of God to yet be experienced that we almost look stupid still camping out where we have – this is not the place we are supposed to stay, folks!  If you have stopped experiencing His fire lately, is it possible that the fire and the cloud have started to move further out into His realm, and it is up to us to move with it in order to stay in His presence and not be left behind?  The dessert terrain is meant to activate us for more hunger.  Jesus has a huge smile on His face, and He is looking right at you and motioning with His hand to “Come here, I have some more things I want to show you! Pick up your temporary tabernacle and get a move on!”

This level of hunger we don’t yet have – is the vehicle for us to transition spiritually.  It is a deep longing to put aside the flesh and to then groan, wrestle, moan, ache, strive, go without, press in over and over for hours, days, weeks & months if we have to, in order to transition into the next place He has for us to tabernacle. God still is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. If we hunger and thirst for righteousness we’ll be filled!  Faith wake up!  Feel starvation! Dissatisfaction increase!  Tears flow! Glory rise!

When I am weak, then I am strong

Pastor Dan Gore 9/13/10 www.destinyshouse.com Letter #53
2 CORINTHIANS 12:10: FOR WHEN I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG

THINK IT NOT STRANGE, concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you. (I Peter 4:12)...but let none of you suffer...as an evil doer.”

To be honest with you, I do think it is strange when fiery trials come. “How could this be happening to me, of all people.” Ha! “Why now? Why here? How much worse does this thing get before God finally intervenes?” There are those seasons when God delays His intervention, even though He has promised to never leave us or forsake us. The delay of God then becomes an actual trial, because time piles up and the situation intensifies and our position becomes more and more vulnerable & desperate.

It is not long before we are wrestling with these feelings that perhaps something has shifted with God and the favor and miracles we once enjoyed in Christ are now gone. But how often do we look at the hero's of the bible and forget that they were also squeezed to the point of desperation. Several great men of God point blank asked God to take their lives – since the grief or pressure was so intense. I wonder how many, in these times of such dryness, were pushed almost to the point of atheism.

In Philippians 4:12 Paul says: “I have learned the SECRET to being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” What was this secret for Paul, who endured shipwrecks, beatings, imprisonment, and so many sufferings? :13 He says that he learned to remain in Christ. The other part of his secret I think is in the “when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Think it not strange. Think it not strange. Why? It is strange to us because we naturally assume in our immature hearts that trouble always equals lack of blessing; lack of God's love. We can't help but see trials the opposite of what they really are: the avenue to greater anointing and position in God's kingdom realm. All those great anointings and supernatural giftings you saw in these giants of faith in the bible...they did not get there by accident or some spiritual lotto drawing. Name me one great who did not go through some major crisis or loss before-hand. But the key is that they prevailed. They made it through and did not quit or exit the race prematurely. Before Peter's shadow healed multitudes, he had to work through his own failure of rejecting Jesus when Jesus was at his lowest point. Can you imagine that on your resume' for the world to read about? Not good. But weren't they ordinary people just like us who managed to work through major disappointments, failures, injustices, and sufferings and overcame. We fail often and embarrass ourselves much, but we stay inside Christ.

I once heard that there are places in the wildernesses of Africa where large diamond rocks have been found just lying out on top of the sand. Places so remote and rarely visited that they are just sitting there for the taking. I think there is a small beach area in NE Florida that is like that as well, where many rubies were found just right out in the open. The same is true for the remote and dry places of our lives, if we are careful to be looking. Diamonds to be found in the low valley's of our lives that we can not possibly pick up in the high places of victory and great material blessing. Sorry – its a fact.
Have you identified what some of those rubies are yet? Perhaps God will reveal some of them to you if you ask Him to. Jesus took your greatest past hurts & lowest dissapointments and molded them to gold.

When I am weak and have run out of options in the natural, that is when I am most vulnerable to Christ's strength and the supernatural. I enter this strange new realm of the cross and sufferings. I see that my ego, my flesh, my reliance on carnal things; my nature apart from God must also be crucified on the cross as Jesus did for example. The delay of God; the valley experience is the time to do this. And it is here that many great and precious things are to be collected, if we are looking. Yes God!
